Knowing best

Last night was our last childbirth preparation class. We watched an intro video to "Happiest Baby on the Block".  The doctor was going through 5 things you can do to calm your baby. At one point the doctor said
"I know what you need to be happy and calm(to the baby). The baby may cry for a little while but then they realize they like it."

Hearing the first part of that statement reminded me a lot about God. He knows what we need, but like a child we just cry and throw a fit. When God wraps us up and does what He knows will make us happy, that is when we can be the happiest human on earth :)

Advent

I am loving this advent season! As we prepare for Jesus' birth I get to prepare for my son's birth. There could be nothing better right now then that.

Paint color

Finally! We have a possible paint color for the nursery. After lots of paint swatches, 3 paint samples, and finally Andrew mixing different combinations of the 3 paint samples we have a color that we both like. Now lets hope that when he gets the paint from the store and paints the whole room we will still like it. 

5 more weeks until the due date!
